For those fans of Magical Girl Type anime (besides just me) there is a newer show out called Shugo Chara. Not quite your typical take on magical girls, it's still pretty good from what I've seen of it so far.
It can be found here on crunchyroll for those with a bit more interest.
The basic premise is the main character, Amu, is an elementary school student with a reputation of being "cool and spicy". Really that isn't who she wants to be, but that is the persona she has been portraying at school. She wishes one day to be able to be more true to herself and wakes up the next morning with 3 eggs in her bed. She freaks out and isn't sure what to do, but takes them with her to school. Each of those eggs "hatch" into different characters she could potentially become.
I think it's decently laid out and emotionally involving if you can get past a few of the kiddy parts of it. There seems to be a lot more that just meets the eye in the first episode. The characters aren't flat and it has a lot of genuine emotion behind it.
